Nascuy Linares

Musician and filmmaker, with a long career as a film composer and editor for feature films and TV. His original music has scored celebrated films including the Academy Nominee "The Embrace of the Serpent" directed by Ciro Guerra, "Tocar y Luchar" directed by Alberto Arvelo and "Maroa" directed by Solveig Hoogesteijn”, "Los Silencios" by Beatriz Seigner. He has been awarded with the Fenix Prize and the Platino Prize for best original score and achieved an artistic residency for young Latin American composers at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (USA) sponsored by the UNESCO-Aschberg Foundation. He has worked with maestro Gustavo Dudamel scoring the soundtrack for the feature film “The Liberator”, and also as video and stage manager for the LA Philharmonic.
