George Harris was born on October 20, 1949 in Grenada, British West Indies [now Grenada]. He is an actor and producer, known for Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007).He has worked with the likes of Lord Olivier, who was an early mentor, Harold Pinter and film directors Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg He played Britain's first-ever black TV detective in the ITV series Wolcott in 1981.
