John Coquillon was born on July 29, 1930 in The Hague, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. He is known for The Changeling (1980), Straw Dogs (1971) and Cross of Iron (1977). He died in 1987.Dutch-born cinematographer, primarily active in Britain. Began at Pinewood studios in the 1950's as a clapper-loader and later traveled through Africa as a documentary cameraman. He also worked on many commercials. Member of the British Society of Cinematographers from 1969.
