Tedd Pierce

Tedd Pierce was born on August 12, 1906 in Quogue, New York, USA. He was a writer and actor, known for Gulliver's Travels (1939), The Jim Backus Show (1960) and Super-Rabbit (1943). His personal habits (especially late-night partying and coming to work hung-over) gave rise to Chuck Jones lampooning Pierce by creating the character of Pepe Le Pew. In 1936, he served as president of an animator's union (mainly in protest to poor salaries) which held secret meetings at the El Coyote restaurant on Melrose Boulevard. Writer and voice actor who worked in McKimson's unit at Warner Brothers (Looney Tunes).
