Birgit Minichmayr was born on April 3, 1977 in Linz, Upper Austria, Austria. She is an actress, known for Downfall (2004), The White Ribbon (2009) and Alle Anderen (2009).2001: Named as one of European films' Shooting Stars by European Film Promotion. Resides in Berlin and Vienna. Grew up in Pasching, Upper Austria. Graduated from the Max Reinhardt Seminary in Vienna. Has been ensemble member at the Volksbühne,a theater in Berlin, since 2004. Received the Nestroy Prize, an Austrian theater award, as "Best Young Talent" in 2000 and "Best Actress" in 2004. Was taught drama by Klaus Maria Brandauer. Speaks English fluently.
