Forty years experience as Director/ Producer of Film and television. Screenwriter with bilingual skills. Effective teacher and consultant regarding the storytelling process. FRANK ZÚÑIGA, Screenwriter-Producer-Director, is developing three of his screenplays; SANTA CLAUS AND THE ECHO PARK KID, ALIEN GAMES, and JUAN DIEGO. His industry experience spans more than forty years. In 2011-2012 Frank is writing the screenplay for a multi-episode saga on Hispanic history titled, LA HERENCIA (THE LEGACY). Frank was the Film Commissioner for the New Mexico in 2003-2004 where he supervised the writing of The New Mexico Media Industries Strategic Plan for media growth for Governor Richardson. Frank served as the senior consultant on the development of the Sandoval County Media Cluster in 2005. In 2006-2007 Frank consulted on 3 feature films and was a producer for Chrome Bike in 2008. In 1967 Roy E. Disney offered Frank his first directing assignment on THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY. At the Disney Studios, Zúñiga produced and/or directed 26 hours of television which included; THE OWL THAT DIDN’T GIVE A HOOT, VARDA, THE PEREGRINE FALCON(Highest rated show in 14 years of The Wonderful World of Disney), MUSTANG and BARRY OF THE GREAT ST. BERNARDS. He was Director/Director of Photography on all of the film exhibits in the MEXICO PAVILLION at DISNEY WORLD. In 1979, Frank’s first feature film THE FURTHER ADVENTURE OF THE WILDERNESS FAMILY, was shot in Colorado for $1.4 million and has grossed over $50 million in the world market. He followed with HEARTBREAKER with Fernando Allende, THE GOLDEN SEAL for The Sam Goldwyn Company starring Steve Railsbach and Michael Beck plus FISTFIGHTER, which was shot in Mexico City, Starring Jorge Rivero, Edward Albert and Mike Connors.
