Luis Bacalov was born on August 30, 1933 in San Martín, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is known for The Postman (1994), Django Unchained (2012) and Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003). He died on November 15, 2017 in Rome, Italy.Was the principal artistic director of the Orchestra della Magna Grecia in Taranto from 2005 until his death. Began his career in films working in Italy, often on Spaghetti Westerns. Born in Argentina to a Jewish Bulgarian family. Fronted a rock group in the 1960s, called Luis Enrique and His Electronic Men.
