Niko Nitai was born on December 22, 1931 in Bucharest, Romania. He was an actor, known for New Media Bible, The: The Gospel According to St. Luke (1979), The Jesus Film (1979) and Hellbound (1994). He died on March 23, 2020 in Israel.Born into a Jewish family, Niko Nitai migrated to Israel as he was always impressed with the Theatre at such a young age. His voice in the 1979 Jesus film is dubbed over by an unknown British voice actor. Paul Eshelman's book "I Just Saw Jesus" claims Niko Nitai became a born again Christian. This isn't true as Nitai is a devout Jew and he also publicly stated he wasn't fond of the Jesus film and hated that his voice was dubbed over in the American release.
