In the 90s, Rami was recruited by Universal Studio's Digital Media Lab (DVCC), where he worked with a Panasonic/Universal team to help develop Video Compression (Mpeg-2) encoding systems, High Definition, Digital Cinema, and DVD technologies. After several years of building and managing digital media departments, Rami and business partner Brent Akamine launched HobokenWest Digital Media in 2003, where they served clients including MGM, SONY, Paramount, Disney, Fox, Toyota USA, Universal, Panasonic Disc Services, Warner Bros, New Line Cinema and Vivendi Visual Entertainment (UMGD). Rami is passionate about Human Rights, Equality, and Digital Accessibility for all people.
