Raymond K. Johnson

Raymond K. Johnson was born on November 24, 1901 in Leeds Township, North Dakota, USA. He was a director and writer, known for The Reckless Way (1936), All Faces West (1929) and Special Agent K-7 (1936). He died on March 23, 1999 in Rancho Mirage, California, USA. Fought in the US Army during World War II. Brother of Gladys Johnston. Member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). In the 1960s he was appointed head of the camera department at MGM. There has been some confusion over his name, with some sources claiming that "Raymond K. Johnson" is a pseudonym for producer/director Bernard B. Ray. It is not. They are two different people.
