Robert Stadlober was born on August 3, 1982 in Friesach, Carinthia, Austria. He is an actor and producer, known for Summer Storm (2004), Enemy at the Gates (2001) and Engel & Joe (2001).Left school at 16 to concentrate on acting. He is German-Austrian descent. Born to Austrian Martin Stadlober, an electrician, and his German wife Margit, he grew up in Austria until the age of eight. After his parents had divorced, he moved to Berlin with his mother.Brother of Anja Stadlober. Vocalist/lead guitarist of rock band "Gary" Went to school at the International School of Berlin-Potsdam, where he performed in the band The Daltons with Casey Scott, Andrew Van Ark and Matthew Kirsten. Only one tape recording exists of their songs, which is in Casey Scott's possession. Good friends with actor David Winter. Spoke openly about his bisexuality in interviews after playing a gay teenager in Summer Storm (2004). Was cast as Johann Hözel aka Falco in Falco - Verdammt, wir leben noch! (2008), but left the project only days before the shooting had started. He was replaced by Manuel Rubey. Says that he hates Til Schweiger. Stated that he had to move to another city because he had to "destroy" his life every two years, so it didn't become boring. After living in Berlin, twice in Hamburg, Barcelona and Vienna, he moved back to Berlin (2008). Suffered from agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder. Member of Indie band Escorial Gruen, playing the trumpet, guitar and harmonica as well as being vocalist. Co-owns an independent record label in Vienna, Austria ("Siluh Records").
